This workshop has been designed for chemists and engineers from all aspects of the industry and will focus on some of the newer aspects of scale management that have arisen over the past few years. These will include the challenges of producing unconventional reservoirs, such as shale plays and sulphide scales, which are becoming more common especially in HP/ HT systems and the impact of enhanced oil recovery processes on scale management.

The 4th International Symposium on Applied Microbiology and Molecular Biology in Oil Systems

This conference explores the application of emerging microbial and molecular biology tools. Oil Plus is part of an ongoing Joint Industry Project (JIP) with several major oil companies, looking into the new technologies that differentiate between living and dead bacteria within a few hours of sampling.
